At First Sight Home Inspections offers clients a high-quality, thorough and timely home inspection that will assist the purchaser in making an informed decision.

The inspection will include a complimentary thermal imaging scan at no additional charge.  The thermal imaging scan will measure heat signatures that will identify hot spots and connection defects.  This is important in the early detection of potential hazards and ensuring a safe home environment.

Identifying moisture intrusion is an important factor impacting the integrity of a home and critical information in making a final decision to purchase a home.  Through moisture level readings, potential problems that could lead to mould or health issues will be identified and noted in the final summary report.

Within 24 hours of the home inspection, you will receive a comprehensive online summary report, which will include photographs, a description of building elements and any notable areas of concern will be identified.

Every home is different; however, the following list describes key areas to be assessed and highlighted in the summary report.

  • Roofing Components
  • Building Structure
  • Water Supply & Plumbing
  • Electrical Safety & Systems
  • Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning
  • General Interior & Exterior Elements
  • Insulation & Energy Conservation

The added value of selecting At First Sight Home Inspections will be the inclusion of a Home Owner’s Maintenance Manual that will serve as an excellent reference guide, with many preventative maintenance tips that will assist in extending the useful lifespan of your home.
